Web Designer - Full Time

We are looking for a well-rounded web designer, who is responsible, impressionable and capable of working well independently and with others. Most importantly, you must have a good attitude and a desire to be a major contributor to our company growth. We are more interested in drive and work ethic than skill set.

Main Duties

This position will design, develop and maintain client websites and company web-based applications using the latest technologies and working on all phases of a project, from inception to delivery. The Developer will have the responsibility and ownership for design and deliverables for a project. He/she must have the ability and ambition to design high performance, robust, high quality, supportable and maintainable web site application(s). Must perform other related duties as needed to ensure effective operation and profitability of the company.

Requirements

1. Any type of undergraduate degree or 2+ years of related working experience
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Ability to work independently on projects of moderate to broad scope.
4. Solid understanding of web site design, user interface design principles and usability testing.
5. Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and and simple PHP.
6. Ruby on Rails experience is a tremendous plus. (or willingness to learn)
7. Willing to sign a non-compete and non-disclosure agreement.
8. Must have dependable transportation and valid drivers license.

Salaries and pay structures are based on education and skill level. Pay increases are dependent on providing results and on company growth.
